Known for her role as Mary Stone on the legendary sitcom The Donna Reed Show, Fabares also appeared in three Elvis Presley movies.
Born on January 19, 1944 in Santa Monica, California, she began acting at an early age. She grew up in a family of actresses, including her mother, Louise (nee Farabee), and aunts Nanette Fabray and Nanette “Piggy” Fabray.
She was nominated for an Emmy award for her role as Donna Reed’s daughter on The Donna Reed Show, and was also shortlisted for a pair of Primetime Emmy awards. In addition to her role as Donna’s daughter, she also had the role of Francine Webster on One Day at a Time, a CBS sitcom.
