‘Rattrap’s’ space battle with the Predacons
‘Rattrap’ is a character that has appeared in several episodes of the Transformers TV series. He has shown his loyalty to Optimus, but is also a sarcastic and irreverent character. Throughout the series, Rattrap has fought with Predacons. He has teamed up with Optimus on several missions. However, there has been a short rivalry between the two.
“Double Jeopardy” introduced Rattrap to the show’s B-plot. In this episode, Rattrap is sent to secure a new Predacon post. He is also given a new rat form, which allows him to hack into consoles. He prefers to hide in the gutters, trash barges and trenches. He also has a good knowledge of mechanics. He has been responsible for numerous inventions and Maximal inventions.
In the first season of the series, Rattrap had a romantic relationship with a Maximal Botanica. He helped Rhinox and the Maximals during their battles against the Predacons. His best invention was a device that turned Jetstorm back into Silverbolt. He was also responsible for creating grenades that produced fast-growing plants.
In the second season, he was reunited with Optimus and fought with him on a mission. When Optimus was captured, Rattrap was one of the few characters that was able to rescue him. He is also one of the few characters that survive from the Beast Wars to the Beast Machines series.
‘Rattrap’s’ decision about what to do next
During the second season of Transformers, Rattrap made a cameo appearance in an episode called War Planets. He was featured in both robot and “beast” mode. He was also seen in a long shot next to Emperor Sternum.
The show’s official website misspelled Rattrap’s name for a few weeks in 2021. Mainframe’s original design for the character was to make him deeply flawed. Despite this, the character’s model was designed to look more like Transmetal.
In the Japanese dub, Rattrap’s personality was portrayed more heavily and his cowardice was downplayed. However, the Japanese version of Beast Wars made sure that Rattrap broke the fourth wall, shooting Jonny Quest.
During the second season, Rattrap had a brief cameo in a few episodes. In one of them, he joined the Maximals in a fight against Skriix and he was rescued by the team. In another, he was involved in an ambush plan that failed. Fortunately, he was saved from falling to his death by a monkey.
During the second season, Rattrap’s “beast” mode was altered and he was heavily redesigned to resemble Pikachu. He was also reprogrammed into the brain of the Beast Machines team after Rhinox was reprogrammed. He was also able to develop creative weapons and techno-gadgetry.
In the second season, Rattrap was also involved in the Maximals’ battle against Predacons on Earth. He was vocal about how he disliked the Predacons, and he was proud when they were defeated. He was also a fan of video games, and he spent his spare time playing them.
