One More Light
One More Light is Linkin Park’s seventh studio album. The album was released through Warner Bros. Records on May 19, 2017. It is also the first Linkin Park album to be certified gold.
One More Light was a departure from the band’s previous albums. Unlike the band’s debut album, The Hunting Party, which was more geared toward a heavy metal audience, One More Light was a far more accessible and pop-oriented affair.
The album features contributions from many of the heavy hitters in the industry, including Blackbear, J.R. Rotem, and Ross Golan. Additionally, the band had some sessions in Canada and London. While the band was in the studio, the band started posting pictures of themselves in the studio to their mailing list.
“One More Light” was the third single released from the album. The song was a clear tribute to Chester Bennington, who died in July. As such, the song was nominated for the MTV Video Music Awards’ Best Music Video award.
Draven Bennington’s relationship with Elka
Draven Sebastian Bennington is the third son of Linkin Park front man Chester Bennington. He is also the lead vocalist of the band Chaos.
Draven Bennington was born on April 19, 2002. He was the third child of Linkin Park’s singer Chester Bennington and his ex-wife Samantha Olit.
The musician’s parents separated in 2005. His half-sisters are two older half-sisters.
Bennington’s parents married in 1996. After the breakup, the couple split and Bennington went back to live with his mother. At 17, he moved into a new apartment with his mother.
He started to get involved with drugs and alcohol at the age of 11, but later got back into the game of music. As an adult, he joined Stone Temple Pilots and Dead by Sunrise.
In 2005, Chester Bennington formed his own band Dead by Sunrise. It was later renamed Linkin Park. This band released seven albums and sold 70 million records worldwide. Among the hits of this band are Faint, Numb, and In The End.
Chester Bennington’s drug abuse
Chester Bennington was a musician and singer who had a long history of substance abuse and mental health disorders. As a teenager, he smoked marijuana and cocaine. Later, he had a hard time controlling his alcohol consumption and resorted to opium to get high. He also suffered from depression, which he attributed to being sexually abused by an older friend.
In the months before his death, Bennington had been trying to quit drugs and alcohol. His wife told the authorities he was in an outpatient treatment program. However, in August, he relapsed. Several of his friends said he had attempted suicide.
Bennington’s death has shocked millions of fans worldwide. It has been ruled a suicide by hanging.
Although the toxicology report did not specify the type of drug he was taking, blood tests found that he had a “presumptive positive” for MDMA. The report also noted that he had a partially consumed bottle of alcohol in his system at the time of his death.
