The first series Glaser developed on multiple social platforms before it was broadcast, Not Safe with Nikki Glaser gives comics a platform to joke, learn and share personal stories about their sex lives. Glaser hosts and executive produced the series along with Chris Convy, Alex Murray and Brad Petrigala.
Glaser and her parents, Julie and Edward J. Glaser, moved back to her hometown of St. Louis during the pandemic and she reunited with her ex-boyfriend, Chris Convy.
Chris & Nikki’s Engagement
Chris and Nikki’s relationship began when they were just students in college. They met one night while stargazing from the quad during a week of classes and sealed their fate as a couple.
Despite their early success, they faced some humbling challenges in the years to come. Their relationship was strained as they fought for jobs after graduation, 700 miles apart from each other.
After their breakup, Nikki and Chris became friends again. They even worked together at a local gym in Poughkeepsie, New York.
When she started dating Chris again, she was still fearful of sex. He took a compassionate approach, but she soon became resentful. She re-encountered her rape, and it caused her to feel like she was being punished.
Eventually, she started to watch torture porn videos on Pornhub and told her therapist that Chris was tape-recording their sexual encounters without her consent. She also reported him to CPS, who sent her a log that showed screenshots of his Pornhub searches.
